What to Expect at the P&P Studio

All Pink & Powerful classes are designed to be welcoming, inclusive, and empowering spaces for women of all fitness levels. Whether you are brand new to movement or have been working out for years, you will feel supported, guided, and encouraged every step of the way.
 
Our class offerings blend strength, yoga, pilates, sculpt work, mindful movement, and moments of reflection. Expect clear instruction, modifications for beginners, and thoughtful progressions so you can move in a way that feels good for your body.

P&P classes are rooted in confidence building, connection, and community. You may experience light partner or group elements, guided visualization, or intention setting that help you feel both strong and seen.

 
After class, the experience often continues with relaxed social time, giving you space to connect, reflect, and enjoy the post workout glow together. You will leave feeling strong, supported, and deeply energized, inside and out.

What to wear & bring

✨ Please bring your own mat if you own one; extras are available for $3 rental at the studio
✨ Tight-fitting, comfortable clothing is best for these classes!
✨ PINK is always encouraged, but never required at P&P classes!
✨ Bring water, and feel free to bring your laptop/ journal to stick around after to hang with the P&P community at Aruba Island Bowls

Who can take P&P studio classes?

Although a large part of our mission is to empower and uplift post-grad women, P&P classes are open to anyone with a kind heart, inclusive outlook, and interest in meeting like-minded Pittsburghers!

✨ We are in the back part of the same building as Aruba Island Bowls Cafe in the strip District, at 1601 Penn Ave right by the 16th street bridge
✨ There is parking available under the bridge (normally is fine to park here for free), as well as street parking nearby on Penn Ave.
✨ Feel free to reach out with any questions on parking!

Class Descriptions

Sculpt & Soul

Sculpt & Soul is a low-impact, full-body sculpt class blending mat Pilates-inspired strength, mindful movement, and intentional connection.
 
Expect controlled, effective sculpting using bodyweight, yoga blocks, resistance bands and light hand weights, paired with guided visualization and occasional partner or group elements designed to cultivate confidence, shared motivation, and meaningful connection.
 
Leave feeling refreshed, supported, and deeply energized, inside and out.

Self Love Sculpt

 This lower-body focused mat sculpt class is designed to strengthen, tone, and empower from the ground up! Through intentional, low-impact movement, you'll build strength both inside and out.
 
Open to all levels, this is a supportive space to move, challenge yourself, and reconnect with your body. Rooted in self-love, you'll leave feeling stronger, more confident, and proud of yourself.

Sacred Shake

This class is based on the Sacred Shake Method™, a unique style of movement created by instructor Kate Pearson. Her approach uses guided, rhythmic shaking and intuitive movement to support healing, embodiment, and nervous system release.

Shaking is one of the body’s most natural ways to process stress and emotion. Through intentional shaking, breath, and grounding moments of stillness, you’ll create space to move through stored tension, release what no longer serves you, and reconnect with your inner strength.

Leave feeling lighter, freer, and more deeply connected to yourself, physically, emotionally, and energetically.

Freedom Flow

Freedom Flow classes blend elements of Pilates, strength training, and yoga-inspired movement, creating experiences that support both physical goals and deeper inner connection.
 

Her classes are designed to help you build strength, release stress, and move with intention — leaving you feeling empowered, grounded, and fully in your flow.

Buti Yoga

Buti Yoga is a dynamic, music-driven practice that combines spiral movements to activate the deep core, intentional shaking to release stored tension, and powerful flows that connect breath with movement.

You’ll move intuitively, build strength, have fun, and reconnect with your body in a way that
supports both physical and emotional release. Open to all levels, this class is designed to meet you exactly where you are—right now.

Back to Breath

Back to breath is a traditional vinyasa/hatha style flow class that is designed to bring you back into your body, restore your awareness, and leave you feeling powerful and energized.

Expect a wide range of asanas including balancing, strengthening, and stretching postures. All poses are always modifiable and open to any ability level.

Meditate & Manifest

with Coach Meg

Meditate & Manifest is a mindfulness reset designed to help you slow down, tune in, and intentionally shape the life you’re building. Please note- this is NOT workout class; we will be focusing on quieting the mind, journaling, and group discussion.

​

Each session begins with a guided meditation, with a different theme or focus each month, whether that’s clarity, confidence, abundance, courage, or becoming your next-level self. From there, we move into guided journaling and open discussion to deepen reflection and turn insight into aligned action.

Please bring your own mat and journal for these sessions!

This is a space for mindfulness, honest conversation, and meaningful community. A place to reconnect with yourself, release what’s not serving you, and step into the week feeling grounded, intentional, and empowered.
